Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles have been rumored to be dating since the beginning of the year when they were photographed arriving hand-in-hand at the Montecito wedding of Styles’s manager. But even after living in London for a few months where she and the singer reportedly spent a whole lot of quality time together, it seems Wilde has no plans on making any public declarations about their burgeoning romance just yet.

On Monday, the actress turned director flew back to Los Angeles and was immediately greeted by a swarm of paparazzi who peppered her with questions about the future of her relationship with the pop star. After she thanked one of the photographers for his compliment about her talent as a filmmaker, he asked, “Does Harry have an Oscar in his future?” But Wilde refused to entertain that line of questioning, replying simply, “You know I’m not gonna talk. You know it’s not gonna happen.” In fact, the most she was willing to give to the press was a nod and a coy smile after the cameraman said that he thinks Styles is a good actor and asked if she thinks the singer has “a lot of potential.”

Those questions aren’t totally out of left field considering the pair first met on the set of her film Don’t Worry Darling during which sources have said that, as the costars spent more time together both on-set and off, their friendship “quickly turned romantic” and “their chemistry was very obvious.” And while she may not be willing to address her rumored beau’s acting prowess with the press, Wilde has previously gushed about his performance in her film on Instagram. After wrapping in February, she penned an effusive tribute to Styles on social media, writing, “Not only did he relish the opportunity to allow for the brilliant @florencepugh to hold center stage as our ‘Alice,’ but he infused every scene with a nuanced sense of humanity. He didn’t have to join our circus, but he jumped on board with humility and grace, and blew us away every day with his talent, warmth, and ability to drive backwards.”
