Michael R If you like gore, and ridiculous fighting scenes, this is for you. This movie doesn't take it self serious. Why it's must see! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/12/24 Full Review matthias s Tokyo Gore Police is a cinematic rollercoaster that gleefully dives into the realms of nastiness and weirdness. It's a funny-for-the-wrong-reasons kind of film, making you question if you're laughing with it or at it. I get why some people revel in its over-the-top gore fest; it's a no-brainer for those who seek mindless entertainment. The special effects could've been better for a film relying heavily on gore, but the aesthetics redeem it with incredible costumes and a well-made soundtrack. This live-action manga experience offers a visual treat, but don't take it seriously. It's a no-brainer gore fest, delivering exactly what it promises – nothing more, nothing less. For fans of extreme gore and body horror, this film is a delight, but it missed the mark for me. Despite a promising start, the story lost its grip, leaving me more perplexed than engaged. Tokyo Gore Police is a wild ride, but one I won't be queuing up for again. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/15/24 Full Review accrixx Love the absurdities and gore of this movie, had to rewatch it like 3 times just to really absorb it all, genuinely such a good movie!! Not for squeamish people though.. lol. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/05/24 Full Review Kyle J This film wastes no time immersing the viewer in a wild fever dream of gore and keeps it's foot on the accelerator for the entirety of it's runtime. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 08/30/23 Full Review Liam D One of the most bonkers movies I've ever seen and I absolutely adore it. It's a movie you have to seen to believe Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/27/22 Full Review Audience Member The best movie i have seen in my entire life. This film changed my life. Hank Sartin Time Out Rated: 2/5 Nov 17, 2011 Full Review Michael Esposito Chicago Tribune The budget for fake blood for this Tokyo-based festival of slicing, shooting and chomping probably comes in about even with Titanic's budget for seawater. Rated: 3/4 Nov 12, 2008 Full Review V.A. Musetto New York Post Quite possibly the goriest, craziest, most eye-blowing, chunk-spewing, head-exploding sci-fi movie of all time.
