Heidi Klum and her daughter Leni confirm that sometimes more is more—and when it comes to coordinated outfits, even more is better.

Sometimes it is considered a cliché, but coordinated mother-and-daughter dressing has become an action of the most tender aesthetic. Or, rather, sharing a closet with your mother has become the best option to considerably increase the number of looks you can create.

Heidi Klum joined the ranks of other top models whose children are conquering the catwalk, including duos Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber, Vanessa Paradis and Lily-Rose Depp, Jerry Hall and Georgia May Jagger, and Kate Moss and Lila Grace Moss.

Now Heidi and Leni Klum are proving to be the tandem we needed. Far from the "cheesiness" of identical looks, the German model and her daughter opted for the same dress model, but with key differences in terms of design. Still, both wore strapless neckline dresses with sequins, one of the hottest trends of the season.

Designed by Monique Lhuillier, the dress worn by Heidi mixed pale pink fabric that worked as a second skin with gold details embedded on the double tulle fabric. She further elevated the look by opting for red nails, a nod to her daughter's own dress.

As for the 50-year-old model's beauty look, she left her hair down in casual waves, placing her part in the middle so that her curtain bangs draped over her forehead. For her makeup, she put the emphasis on her eyes through the palette of earth-toned shadows, and for her lips she chose a very light nude tone, nearly matching her skin.

For her part, Leni Klum went all in on red. The color was dominating the catwalk and street style this fall—and promises to stay on trend for spring. There are so many connotations to this color that we could spend hours and hours writing about, but if there are some that stand out, its power, passion, and femininity. This 19-year-old has style in her genes and knew how to show it off with a flamboyant red dress that screamed empowerment in a visual way.

As for Leni's accessories, the floral choker stands out as definitive proof that Gen Z are still largely inspired by the first decade of the 21st century. In this case, wearing the flower around her neck in the same fabric as her dress gave the ensemble a breath of fresh air. Finally, she let her garments speak for themselves, tying up her hair for an impeccable clean look.

Mother and daughter chose to coordinate their looks by alluding to each other's style while keeping their own essence. Like mother, like daughter.
