Lily Collins brings casual glamour to the Chanel showcase at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week as she works a a sequin top and distressed jeans

It is one of the most coveted fashion show tickets of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.

So naturally Lily Collins, 28, dressed to impress as she attended the Chanel AW17 fashion show at the Grand Palais Museum in Paris, France on Tuesday.

Wearing a short sleeved sequinned red top, the actress looked sensational as she brought casual glamour to the iconic fashion show.

Lily's top featured metallic tassel fringing, which lined the hem of her short sleeves and bottom, and a floral design which covered the expanse of the material.

She paired it with some distressed denim straight leg jeans, which skimmed over her slim pins, culminating in a rough hemline at the ankle.

She added some height to her frame with a pair of black strappy heels, and allowed her brunette tresses to hang loose, framing her face prettily.

Lily added to the Lolita glamour of the look with smokey purple eye shadow, which drew attention to her striking doe eyes.

Tweed, a classic hallmark of the Chanel brand, was prevalent throughout the show in many different forms. 

Hats were matched to long suit jackets and matching skirts, and paired with patent boots, while coats were designed with eye-catching flower adornments, and teamed with full skirts.

The historic site of the Grand Palais, located at the Champs-Élysées, is one of the most impressive buildings in Paris, with its ornate stone decoration and stone facades.

Its beauty makes it a popular site for fashion shows, with Yves Saint Laurent, Sonia Rykiel, Rochas among some of the couture houses to have previewed their collections there.

The actress is displaying a noticeably slimmed-down physique, a result of her latest role in film To The Bone.  

Lily, whose father is music stalwart Phil Collins, appears in the upcoming Netflix film, playing a woman who is hospitalised amid an eating disorder, who finds treatment at the hands of a skilled doctor, played by Keanu Reeves.

The Okja actress, who has opened up about her own battle with anorexia, said the reactions she received to her rail-thin look for the role are indicative of the deeper social problems at hand. 

'I was leaving my apartment one day and someone I’ve known for a long time, my mom’s age, said to me, "Oh, wow, look at you!"' Collins told Net-A-Porter's The Edit Thursday.

She said that as she 'tried to explain' that the weight loss was for the film, the woman told her, 'No! I want to know what you’re doing, you look great!'

The Last Tycoon beauty continued: 'I got into the car with my mom and said, "That is why the problem exists."'

Collins, who plays a character named Ellen in the motion picture, told the publication that early feedback she's received over the film has 'been amazing,' as many people can relate to it. 

She said that 'crew members were coming up [to her] and saying they had experienced [eating disorders] through their sister or niece or friend,' and that she's received 'emails from people in the industry saying, “This is my story."'

Collins said the film 'has the potential ... to start conversations and take the taboo out of something that is so prevalent.' The film opens July 14.
