Description:
One of eleven American goldeneye eggs (Bucephala clangula americana) (CBE1408 - CBE1418) collected from the same nest in Manitoba, Canada in June of 1924, by Ernest Norman. Norman noted that the nest was, "on the top of a broken poplar stub, 12ft. high. Eggs laid on rotten wood chips, with a bit of down around the eggs."
