1995 Mazda RX7 Type RS (Japanese Import)
I am regrettably selling my RX7 to fund a house deposit, I am in no rush to sell and will be using the car so milage will increase.
I have owned the car since 2020, previous owner imported the car in 2001.
The car has been super reliable and has never let me down, it had an engine rebuild by Reworx at 138766km, it is now on 146000km so less than 5000 miles ago. I took the car back to reworx in November for a compression test which came back strong: see picture.
The car was professionally undersealed by Tricketts in Poole costing £1500, I have a full photo album of the work done which included stripping back any rust, treating with rust inhibitor and then waxoyl treatment.
The car has been converted to single turbo for more power, reliability and simplicity. I have put a list of parts in the pictures. It was mapped by Stu and Rotor Torque who is known as one of the best in the UK.
I have just had 4 new tyres fitted to cope with the power increase, they hold very well in the dry.
The wheels are Mazdaspeed MS-02 magnesium alloys. They are pretty rare and don’t come up for sale often! I have had multiple messages from people asking me to sell them so unsure on what they are worth
The bad points:
-Needs a drivers wheel speed sensor, have been after one for a few weeks but havent found one yet, will carry on looking and get it sorted if I can (abs sometimes pulses slightly at about 2mph).
-Both nearside wheels have curb marks, they were like this when I bought it and has not bothered me.
