    Nexuiz - Looking good!

    For those interested:

I've written a review of Nexuiz, a free, open-source First Person Shooter that runs natively on Linux, sporting excellent graphics and exciting gameplay. It's really a great game and the latest version brings in a slew of improvements. You really should check it out.

Ragdoll - no, everything ends in big booms!
Vehicles - not that I've found any.
    Reflecting water (surfaces) - yes.
Good animation - intro scenes you mean? There aren't any. But the graphics is quite good. And you have catchy music.

Download and try it. It's free.

Corpses explode into a goo of flesh that bounces around, so yes.

    Reflecting water?
    Yes.

    Vehicles?
Wrong game. This is big guns and gore, not helicopter fragging

    Good animation?
I think it does have that.

Sauerbraten is my favourite FPS at the moment, nice graphics, ragdoll physics and really really really ffffffaaaaaassssstttttt! Playing the instagib CTF is such a laugh, it gets insane sometimes.

This is a thread about Nexuiz. It's in poor taste to promote other games in it.

    Oh, sorry, you're right. Apologies.

The online Nexuiz gaming is really amazing too, I just haven't played it in a while, I think I'll check out this new version and get pwned some more.

It's ok. From a developer's perspective, it can get frustrating when that occurs and sometimes we lash out, even if it's not a game we work on. Keep an eye on Nexuiz, because there are some things things in the works that are pretty exciting.

The only thing Darkplaces supports to some extend is game code-side (QuakeC) stick physics simulation - rag doll physics are a PITA to implement as far as I know.

If those things really are so crucial for you, why don't you contribute with some physics code or new animations?
