1995 Mazda Efini Rx-7 Type R Bathurst FD3S-306252 w/ ~85k miles (136,458 km.).

Transmission / clutch / brakes / steering / suspension all feel good. AC blows cold.

Exterior – very straight; original paint is presentable but up-close has some fading on roof / hood / front fenders. A couple minor scratches.

Interior – looks very good. Dash / seats / cabin in great shape. Rear cargo area and rear-seats also clean.

Service – Autumn 2023

  • Bosch battery;
  • SARD fuel pump;
  • fuel filter;
  • NGK plugs and plug-wires;
  • vacuum lines &amp upper manifold gasket;
  • oil and filter change;
  • brake fluid flush;
  • 225/50ZR-16 General G-MAX AS-05 SL.
  • Compression test – front-rotor 111:117:117 | rear-rotor 114:110:109.

Issues – Heater core is bypassed; Japanese radio should be replaced; thin paint; flakey tachometer.

Feb, 2023 update – teething problem / fuel leak = small fire at the fuel pulse regulator – put out in ~1-minute. Smoked the rats-nest. Vehicle still started and ran afterward – photos in this post is from *after* the fire and can send video of startup after the problem. Jan/Feb, 2024 removed upper manifold to look at solenoids, not currently running and will need fuel pulsation damper fix & rats-nest clean-up – or time to move to a Trust GReddy Full Turbo Kit TD06SH 20G
