rosslynchapel @dglass65 omg it works.. takes 4 D batteries lol..i took them out and clean off the contacts and put the best looking one in and the clock started working..it also plays music and the parts move,the angels the blimp the hot air balloon...it has a speaker too ..i was shocked..i'm going to clean it alot better

rosslynchapel i thought it was from the 60s because it took batteries..the D cell has been around since 1898...ive spent hours online and haven't found a Gustav Becker clock like this only a knock off..that had a different name

rosslynchapel @dglass65 The Clockworks and I was selling it the price thinking it didn't work, for me to go buy batteries and work on the other 3 contacts and take it apart, i would have to bump the price back up...but i'm guessing since its in such great shape and a dead battery I put in the clock works fine I would imagine everything else would..if you wanna think about it for a few days that's fine..if I have to drop 20 bucks on batteries and open it I would have to bump the price up...

rosslynchapel It's listed on 2 sites(but not for sale) as "ART DECO" and antiques...its a show piece....the fact the clock works is super great...but its something you're gonna wanna save...and sell at a later date for more..and because of the name that's pretty much guaranteed

rosslynchapel @clockmantictic what do you know about this clock..i've had it 2 years and only found 2 pictures of it and it's not even listed on the clocks they made in 100 or more,i check 2 lists?i had 4 D batteries.i looked that up thinking it was much newer then found out D cells are from 1889,then i took one battery out and put it on the cleanest contact and BAm the clock came on?now i'm looking in the back and i see the things might move ?and there's a speaker?any help

rosslynchapel somebody bought it and i didnt even know and didn't hit accept...because i wanted to make him a better deal,i didn't list it working,i was at as is.. but the clock does work..its more art deco then a real wall clock,i'm not trying to be a pain but i wanna give somebody a good deal but not rob myself in the process..you sell the really high end ones.

rosslynchapel @dglass65 thats a killer..i moved into a gated complex for that reason and all we have here is hacks and glorified janitors,i'm a Mason with a BAS and a Shriner,the work there doing here is just so horrible to watch...they let landscapers do the masonary work and it starts cracking up after a week...id call you but i don't think i have your number..anyways sorry to hear that..good luck..i'm guessing you have a great central air system,is it a Goodman or RUUD?
