Selena Gomez’s romance with Benny Blanco is heating up fast.

The “Single Soon” singer was first linked to the producer in December 2023, confirming the two were dating when she liked fan account posts on Instagram of the two, even commenting, “He is my absolute everything in my heart,” on one.

Since then, Gomez has posted Blanco on her Instagram on numerous occasions and even took him as her date to the 2024 Golden Globes in January. Following the night, she shared a photo of the happy couple kissing on her Instagram Story, writing, “I won.”

From their PDA-filled Instagram posts to accompanying each other to events, here is a complete timeline of Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s relationship.

March 2019: Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco release a song together

Years before their relationship turned romantic, Gomez and Blanco collaborated on the song “I Can’t Get Enough” together. It also featured Tainy and J Balvin. The singer starred in the music video and shared a sweet scene with Blanco as she was in pajamas, and he dressed as a big white teddy bear.

In 2023, they worked together again on her single, “Single Soon,” which came out in August. 

December 7, 2023: Selena Gomez confirms she is dating Benny Blanco

Gomez let fans know she was getting serious about Blanco when she started liking and leaving comments on Instagram posts that said the two were dating.

She also replied to some fans who questioned the relationship, writing in the comments, “then why has he been the best thing that's ever happened to me. The end."

To another user, she replied, “I don't understand. If you actually care about me. This is my happiest. If you don't feel free to say whatever you want. But I will never allow your words to guide my life. Ever. I'm done. If you can't accept me at my happiest then don't be in [m]y life at all."

In another comment, Gomez revealed that they had been going strong for six months already in response to a person’s note that she appeared to be “mad” at her fans for their reaction to the romance news.

“Not mad. It’s been 6 months bb,” she wrote. “I will always defend my friends, family and fans till the day I die.”

The following day, Gomez posted a picture on her Instagram Story of herself wearing a special “B” ring on her left ring finger.

December 13, 2023: Selena Gomez shares a snuggly selfie with Benny Blanco

A week after going public with their relationship, Gomez shared a sweet behind-the-scenes glimpse into her romance with the song producer. She posted a photo of Blanco cuddling into her while she hugged him on her Instagram Story, leaving it captionless.

December 15, 2023: Selena Gomez posts some of her “favorite moments” with Benny Blanco

In an Instagram recap of her “favorite moments” from her stay in New York City that week, Gomez slid in a sweet snap of herself lying on Blanco’s lap while they embraced. In the black-and-white photo, Gomez leaned back while Blanco hunched over to plant a kiss on her lips.

Elsewhere in the carousel of photos, Gomez posed with Blanco, who enveloped her in his arms.

December 21, 2023: Selena Gomez shares what she’s looking for in a relationship

In an interview with Vogue México y Latinoamérica, Gomez revealed that self-respect and holding space for others’ feelings are top priorities of what she looks for in a partner.

Though she didn’t name Blanco, she said she’s started to be involved with the “right kind” of people.

“Honestly, I have to start being attracted to the right kind of people, because it's a bit of both,” the “Same Old Love” singer said in the interview, which was translated from Spanish to English. “It's very hard to find someone who can listen to you and care about you, but I know when it happens it will be great and you will want it to be healthy.”

The two musicians went to an art exhibit together where they posed below a pink mirrored ceiling. Gomez posted their reflections — which showed Blanco embracing her and burying his head in her neck while she looked up and smiled — on her Instagram Story.

A few days later, she posted another photo of the two hugging and smiling while enjoying a day out on a dock on her Instagram Story.

January 2, 2024: Benny Blanco goes Instagram official with Selena Gomez

The couple brought their relationship into the new year, with Blanco posting a photo of Gomez smiling into the camera on his Instagram Story. He followed it with another photo of Gomez cheesing and covering her face with manicured red nails.

January 3, 2024: Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco sit courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers game

Gomez and Blanco made their first official public appearance as a couple when they attended a Los Angeles Lakers game against the Miami Heat in January. They sat courtside and appeared cuddly as they didn’t shy away from showing affection in front of the cameras snapping photos of them.

At one point, Gomez laid her head on Blanco’s shoulder, and at another, they held hands while watching the game.

January 5, 2024: A source tells PEOPLE Selena Gomez is “super happy” amid her new romance

Following their outing, a source told PEOPLE the “Love You Like a Love Song” singer is “super happy and present” amid her romance with the “Eastside” producer.

"She seems to be really feeling herself at the moment," the insider said. "Maybe that's Benny or maybe that's just where she's at personally and professionally."

The source added that everyone in Gomez’s life is protective of her, including her Only Murders in the Building cast.

While talking to host Zane Lowe during an appearance on New Music Daily on Apple Music 1 to promote her single "Love On," Gomez opened up about her relationship.

In early April, a source told PEOPLE that Gomez and Blanco are "so in love" five months after confirming their relationship.

"It’s a very serious relationship, and they’re making long distance work while she’s in New York for work commitments." the insider said. "Benny makes her feel special and they try to see each other as much as possible. She really does feel like it’s the best she’s ever been treated by a guy, and she’s had a certain glow since they started dating."

April 22, 2024: Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have date night at a basketball game

The couple was spotted sitting courtside at a basketball game between the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers at Madison Square Garden in New York.
