This hybrid is thought to originiate from the Crimea in southern Ukraine around 1860. It is an unmistakable tree with brilliant glossy deep green leaves. Creamy-yellow, fragrant, flowers in drooping clusters appear in mid-summer. Prune once or twice a year to keep desired pleach shape. Aphid resistant. Shelter from strong winds. Hardy.
