General Description
Taprooted annual. Stems ascending to erect, usually branched, 10–40 cm. Herbage glabrate to villous, non-aromatic. Leaves oblong, 15–35 mm long; ultimate segments linear to narrowly deltoid. Peduncles 4–15 cm long. Involucre 6–13 mm wide, villous. Rays 5 to 20, white, fertile; ligules 5–15 mm long. Disk corolla 2–3 mm long. Achenes ca. 2 mm long, glandular; angles tuberculate (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).

Range Comments
Introduced throughout much of temperate North America; native to Eurasia. Collected in Lake County more than 100 years ago (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
