This 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX has approximately 2,200 miles and is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transaxle and an all-wheel-drive system. The car is finished in Tarmac Black over black leather and Alcantara upholstery and is equipped with an active center differential, limited-slip front and rear differentials, a carbon-fiber wing, xenon headlights, Recaro front sport seats, a MOMO steering wheel, Brembo disc brakes, and the Special Edition package which included an aluminum roof panel, 17″ BBS wheels, and revised exterior features. The car was first registered in Florida and was acquired by the selling dealer in January 2022. This Evo IX Special Edition is offered by the selling dealer in Wisconsin with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The car is finished in Tarmac Black and features a vented aluminum hood and a carbon-fiber rear wing. The Special Edition package included an extended front air dam, an aluminum roof panel, and xenon headlights. Additional photos of the exterior and trim are provided in the gallery below.
BBS 17″ alloy wheels were part of the Special Edition package and are mounted with Yokohama Advan A-046 tires showing 2006 date codes. The suspension is fitted with forged aluminum components, a front strut tower brace, and front and rear stabilizer bars. Stopping power is provided by front and rear vented disc brakes with red-finished Brembo calipers.
The cabin features Recaro front sport seats trimmed in black leather with Alcantara inserts joined by a matching dashboard, carpets, and door panels. Carbon fiber-look trim accents the dashboard and center console and amenities include a leather-wrapped shift knob, air conditioning, aluminum pedals, branded floor mats, and a factory CD stereo.
A three-spoke MOMO steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 170-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 2,200 miles.
The turbocharged 2.0-liter 4G63 inline-four features MIVEC variable-valve timing and was factory rated at 286 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque. The battery is said to have been replaced.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle, an active center differential, and limited-slip front and rear differentials. Additional photos of the underside are viewable in the gallery.
The window sticker shows standard equipment, additional options, and a total price of $35,874. Factory manuals in a storage bag, two sets of keys, and a temporary dealer tag from 2007 are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage, notes open safety recalls related to the PCM as well as the passenger-side airbag inflator, and lists history in Florida. An odometer reading of 2,290 miles is shown in August 2014.
