This 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR is finished in Apex Silver Metallic and is equipped with the SE appearance package. Features include forged BBS wheels, Bilstein shocks, HID headlamps, special interior trim, and vortex generators on the roof. The car was acquired in December 2018 by the selling dealer, who has since added more than 1k of its 9,800 indicated miles. Power comes from a turbocharged and intercooled 2.0L inline-four paired with a six-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive. AMS stainless-steel brake lines and Dunlop tires have been installed. This Evo IX is now offered with factory manuals, two keys with fobs, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Colorado title.
The Evolution IX utilized aluminum for the front fenders and hood, while the MR trim added an aluminum roof panel, which reduced weight by nearly nine pounds according to Mitsubishi. This example is painted Apex Silver Metallic and is shown in detail via the photo gallery below. Pictures are provided of various factory VIN stickers as well as paint-depth meter readings.
17″ forged BBS alloy wheels are mounted with 235/45 Dunlop Direzza ZII Star Spec tires manufactured in 2016. An air-dam extension at the front of the car is specific to the SE package, which also gives the wheels their Diamond Black finish. A four-wheel alignment was completed in September 2019, and an associated invoice accompanies the sale. Factory red-painted Brembo brake calipers have been fitted with AMS stainless-steel lines. Each corner is shown up close in the gallery.
Recaro front seats are trimmed in black leather with red stitching and suede-like inserts. The MR package added HID headlamps, an aluminum and carbon-fiber emergency-brake handle, an aluminum shift knob, and three auxiliary gauges forward of the shifter for boost, voltage, and engine temperature, as can be seen in the picture below. The SE package added red stitching.
Standard equipment includes metal pedal covers, air conditioning, a CD stereo, and a Momo steering wheel, as well as power windows, mirrors, and locks.
The digital odometer indicates approximately 9,800 miles, more than 1k of which were driven by the selling dealer during the past 10 months.
The turbocharged and intercooled 2.0L inline-four features MIVEC variable valve timing and developed 286 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque when new. The MR model received a six-speed manual gearbox, while the contemporary GSR had a five-speed.

The Carfax report is free of accidents and other damage, and it lists three owners including the seller and registrations in Illinois, Montana, and Colorado. Unaddressed recalls are also detailed on the report.
