1992 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo 5-Speed

Sold for $35,000 on 9/9/22

This 1992 Nissan 300ZX is finished in Oxford Gray Metallic over black leather upholstery and is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The car remained registered to its original owner in California until 2015 when it was acquired by its current owner. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 16” alloy wheels, Super HICAS four-wheel steering, an electronically-adjustable suspension, an aftermarket alarm, removable glass roof panels, automatic climate control, and a Nissan-Bose cassette stereo. Work performed in preparation for the sale is said to have included fluid changes and the replacement of the brake master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, and one fuel injector. This Z32 Twin Turbo shows 78k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment in Washington State with recent service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.

The car is finished in Oxford Gray Metallic (KL1) and features removable glass roof panels, fog lights, a rear wiper, an integrated rear spoiler, body-color mirrors, and quadruple exhaust outlets. The rear window washer jet does not work. Paint meter readings are shown in the image gallery below.

Five-spoke 16” alloy wheels are wrapped in 225/50 front and 245/45 rear Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires. The car is equipped with Super HICAS four-wheel steering and an electronically-adjustable suspension system. The brake master cylinder was reportedly replaced in preparation for the sale along with the brake fluid.

The cabin houses sport seats trimmed in black leather along with matching door panels and carpeting. Amenities include automatic climate control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, power windows, a Nissan-Bose cassette stereo, and an aftermarket alarm system. The selling dealer notes that the shifter bushings feel worn.

A four-spoke steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 78k miles, approximately 1,200 of which were added during current ownership.

The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 283 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. A fuel injector, the clutch slave cylinder, and clutch fluid were reportedly replaced in July 2022.
