I have a drawing using Adobe Ideas app in iPad, then export it to PDF to open it with Inkscape. It is a vector image since I can enlarge it as much as I want. However the width of the stroke too big when I enlarge so I want to reduce it. When I double click on it, the result appears as the picture below and I don't know how to resize it. Do you know how to achieve my purpose? Thank you.

If you ungroup the image a number of times, you may see its parts. It is also often helpful to view the image in Inkscape in Outline mode.


As you can see from the screenshot, the features are closed paths. (The status bar will report fill, no stroke on selected objects)

So, the paths may need to be traced to create stroked paths.

After Ungrouping until there are no more groups to ungroup, do Path menu > Inset. If you havne't changed the defaults, that will move the path inwards by 2 px. Not a very big change, for that image. So you could either repeat that a few times, or use Dynamic Offset.
