Tripleurospermum decipiens

Tripleurospermum decipiens (Fisch. & C. A. Mey.) Bornm. (W and C-As.) – A very rare and ephemeral alien. Recorded for the first time in 2011 near a grain mill at the Amerikadok in the Antwer port area (rough ground, unloading quay, etc.). At that time, Tripleurospermum decipiens was found in relative abundance, along with other western Asian cereal weeds like Zingeria pisidica (Boiss.) Tutin. It was regularly confirmed since then, usually in much smaller number, the last time apparently in 2014.

Tripleurospermum decipiens is a fairly rare alien in Europe. It has been recorded, for instance, in the British Isles (Clement & Foster 1994).
