Old program - but very interesting.
Because of malware being found in SourceForge downloads, this link has been removed.

After installation - two mistakes: zlib-1 and libgmodule-2.0-0
Improving (path) for XP32 _bit in Annex.

Without success - compilation of Frontline for Windows
Because of malware being found in SourceForge downloads, this link has been removed.

Has anyone tried it?

Wow; haven't heard that name in years MareroQ. Yeah, Frontline's been a bust for the Windows platform for a while but I recall someone had an online version of this, but don'e remember the link. :)

rod beat me to it

The online autotrace is here;
http://www.roitsystems.com/cgi-bin/autotrace/tracer.pl

I was looking at the windows version of autotrace recently for someone and I could not get it to work in Win7 - fine in XP though.

I like autotrace because it has a centerline trace function which potrace does not.

For linux users look for SVGpage - also a front end for autotrace also getting a bit 'long in the tooth'

The thread topic rang a bell... Aw yes, the namespace in SVG files from Inkscape... So now I know where it comes from, and even what it means :)

Yeah; Autotrace is broken in Win7 (not Potrace though). Fortunately for me, I have an XP VM. lol

I can install it using GTK+ runtimes and the XP installer but it will not run even with the newer lib dll files.
I am running Vista so that's probably the problem.
