POSITIVE SIGNIFICANCE: Food++. Comments: Penrhyn - no dogs, 3 brought on ship in 1960s and 1 in 1970s were immediately returned to Rarotonga [Terepai Tutai]. Mangaia - numerous pre-1958, were eaten [Terepai Tutai].
NEGATIVE SIGNIFICANCE: Pest
